Counter Services
Once you have opened an account, you can
call in at our offices, located in the heart of the City
of London between 9.30 am and 4.00 pm (Monday to Friday)
to transact your banking business or make any other financial
enquiries. Our counter staff are always ready to provide
you with a prompt and accurate cashiering service.
Our counter staff can also assist customers with the purchase and sale of currency and travellers' cheques, the issue of bankers' darfts and electronic remittances of funds abroad.
Money Transfers
We provide a fast and efficient world-wide
money transfer service, achieved through access to electronic
payment systems and our network of correspondent banks.
Customers can also request transfers by letter or fascimile if they have completed our standard fax indemnity form. Customers wishing to use this service should
complete a Transfer Request
Form (to download a copy - click here) and send it by mail or facsimile for the attention of Customer Services. Alternatively, call in during banking hours - we're always pleased to see you and assist you.
Non customers must call in person to take advantage of
this service, and they must provide personal identification
by way of a valid passport or pictorial drivers license,
and an original recent utility bill, together with a cheque
or draft drawn on a UK bank in payment. As soon as your
cheque is cleared, the payment
will be on its way. Our customer service team will be pleased
to assist you.
Accounts with UBN
Need a naira or foreign currency account in Nigeria? We can facilitate the opening of the following accounts with UBN
- Domicilliary account in foreign currency
- Current account in Naira
Domicilliary accounts are held with the International Banking Department of UBN in Lagos but a Naira account can be opened at any one of the 400 branches of UBN throughout the country. To locate the branch most suited to your needs click here.
