Mrs OI Osibodu
Non-Executive Chairman
Mrs Osibodu has over 27 years of banking experience and is currently Group Managing Director/Chief Executive of our parent bank, Union Bank of Nigeria plc having previously held several senior positions at General Manager and Managing Director level at Nigeria International Bank Ltd, MBC International Bank Ltd, Nigeria and Ecobank Nigeria Plc. She has a degree in Social Sciences (Economics) and has attended the Advanced Management program at Harvard Business School. Mrs Osibodu’s experience and standing in Nigeria are evidenced by her having undertaken several government and banking advisory roles including a previous chairmanship of the CBN Bankers Subcommittee on Code of Conduct.

Dr KA Ali
Managing Director / Chief Executive
Dr Ali has worked for UBN Group in a variety of management roles since 1988, including as Chief Accountant, Treasurer and Head of Finance & Planning. Prior to his secondment to the Company in September 2006, Dr Ali was Deputy General Manager, Abuja Area Operations & Public Sector. He holds an PhD in Strategic Management from St Clements University, a MBA in Strategic Management from Ogun State University and a first degree in Finance & Banking from the University of Lagos. He is also a Fellow of the Institutes of Chartered Accountants, Credit Administration and Strategic Management of Nigeria and an Associate of the UK Institute of Credit management.

Rollo Greenfield
Executive Director / Chief Operating Officer
Mr Greenfield brings almost 30 years international banking experience to UBUK . After management training with PNB - India’s second largest bank – in 1986 he joined BACB plc, an HSBC associate serving Arab and African markets. In a career spanning 24 years at BACB, he served as Head of Credit, Head of Risk and for 10 years as Chief Operating Officer, a broadly similar role to that being undertaken in his executive capacity at UBUK. Born in India, he grew up in Africa and was educated in UK, where he holds graduate and post-graduate qualifications from The University of Leeds and The Leeds School of Management Studies respectively.

Marco Biglia
Independent Non-Executive Director
Mr Biglia is an experienced senior banker with a strong background in correspondent (FI) and corporate banking at ING Belgium SA where he held positions at Managing Director level. A graduate of ICHEC University, Brussels, during a banking career spanning over 25 years, Mr Biglia also participated in training programmes at INSEAD and the London Business School. While Head of the Financial Institutions Department at ING Belgium, Mr Biglia was a member of the Executive Committees of ING operations in various EU countries and brings to the Board a wealth of knowledge of European banking practices as well as wide emerging market experience ranging from Eastern Europe to South America, Asia and Africa. Mr Biglia is Chairman of the Board Credit & General Purposes Committee.

Mr NR Forsyth
Independent Non Executive Director
Mr Forsyth has over 35 years experience in banking gained with Midland Bank, Bankers Trust Company and Deutsche Bank AG, London. In addition to specialised knowledge of Institutional Banking and Global Cash Management, Mr Forsyth has wide experience of financial institutions in sub-Saharan and east Africa, including five years service as a non executive director of United Bank for Africa. A graduate in French from the University of Wales, Mr Forsyth is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. He is the Chairman of the Board Audit Committee.

Asue Ighodalo
Independent Non-Executive Director
Mr Ighodalo brings to the Board over 25 years experience in Corporate and Commercial law in Nigeria. He is the Managing Partner of Banwo & Ighodalo, a leading corporate and commercial law practice in Nigeria, which he founded in partnership in 1991. A graduate of the London School of Economics & Political Science, in addition to being on several other boards and committees, Mr Ighodalo is a member of the Nigerian and International Bar Associations, and the Nigerian Chartered Institute of Taxation. He frequently lectures on issues of “Corporate Governance” and “Directors’ Duties & Responsibilities” at the Institute of Directors and the Lagos Business School; and on “Entrepreneurship” at the FATE Foundation entrepreneurial training sessions. He is the Chairman of the Board Establishment & Remuneration Committee.

Philip Ikeazor
Non-Executive Director
Mr Ikeazor is a professional banker with over 20 years banking experience (largely in corporate and investment banking) and is an Executive Director of our parent Bank, Union Bank of Nigeria, plc, in charge of Corporate and International/Investment Banking and Treasury. Previously, he was the first Managing Director/Chief Executive of Ecobank Kenya Limited, a medium- sized commercial bank in Kenya affiliated to the Ecobank Group, between May 2008 and February 2009, and a Director, Wholesale Banking with United Bank for Africa (UBA), and he has also handled commercial and offshore banking assignments in Ecobank Nig. Ltd. He started his banking career in 1990 working for Nigerian American Merchant Bank, then affiliated to Bank of Boston, MA, USA where he trained as a loan officer (1990-1996) and also worked at Merchant Banking Corporation (MBC), then affiliated to Bank Paribas (1996-2003).
