INACTIVE OR LOST ACCOUNTS
If you held an account with Union Bank UK Plc however you have not used this account in some time and therefore you consider the account as lost, we can help you ascertain the status of your account.
Lost accounts are sometimes referred to as ‘inactive or dormant accounts', as they have not been used for an extended period of time.
In assessing the status of the account(s), it would help if you're able to provide any related account documentation, such as an old statement, cheque book, correspondence or any other information relating to your account(s). We'll also ask you to provide some information and documents to prove who you are and/or your entitlement to the account, before we can release information or funds to you. Once we’ve traced your accounts we will discuss the next steps to reunite you with your money.
