Opening an account with us is easy.  If you are applying for a personal account you can use our online application at the bottom of this page or download an application form here.  If you are applying for a business account, you can download to complete an application form here.  You can send completed application forms to our offices in London, Lagos or Abuja.  Our address is here.

We offer a range of current and savings accounts in £GBP, $US and €uro, as well as services such as internet banking and prep-paid debit cards..  Please note that our services are designed primarily for residents of the United Kingdom and Nigeria.  We will accept applications from residents of other countries, but we may need to meet you before we can open your account. 

Before you apply…

If you already hold any account with us and would like a different account or service, there is no need to complete another application.  Simply get in touch with one of our offices and we will make the arrangements

Business Customers

In most cases, we will need to meet business customers before we open an account.  We will also need some information about your company registration or corporate structure, its directors and shareholders or owners.

Before applying please note some of our account opening criteria:

  • You must make a minimum initial deposit of £2,500, $2,000 or €2,500.  We will close any account that isn’t funded within 30 days of being opened.
  • If you are a start-up business, we will need to see your business plan

Personal Customers

We can open most personal accounts without meeting you.  We will need to verify your address and identity, and the application form explains how we do this.

          

Before applying please note some of our account opening criteria:

  • You must be aged 18 or over
  • You must make a minimum initial deposit of £2,500, $2,000 or €2,500.
  •  We will close any account that isn’t funded within 30 days of being opened.
